Emergency crews were busy Monday afternoon on Ind. 15 as simultaneous calls came in at 3:02 p.m. for two separate accidents. One occurred at the intersection of Ind. 15 and CR 200S. Jacqueline S. Kersey, 17, Silver Lake, was southbound on Ind. 15 and stopping when she rear-ended a 1995 Dodge Ram driven by Keith A. Baker, 17, Warsaw, as he was stopping and hit a third vehicle, a 2005 Dodge Truck driven by Brian K. Method, 46, North Manchester, who was stopped. Method was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital with minor neck and back pain. Baker’s passenger sustained a laceration to the face but declined treatment. While this was going on, Warsaw crews also responded to a call of a vehicle rear-ending a semi at the intersection of Ind. 15 and CR 400S. Sun Geberin, 72, Warsaw, was westbound on CR 400S in his 2003 Ford Taurus when he rear-ended a semi-truck, driven by Matthew Welte, 16, of Milford. Geberin was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital with a leg injury. No damage estimated was provided.
