Two people, including a child, were sent to the hospital after two vehicles collided Tuesday afternoon.
The collision occurred on Crystal Lake Road, west of CR 400W, Warsaw. A call to Central Dispatch reported the accident at 4:34 p.m.
According to information provided by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, a van driven by Cadence Riley Bartz, 17, South Wray Street, Atwood, was westbound on Crystal Lake Road when she attempted to pass another vehicle. Before she could get over, her van collided with an eastbound van driven by Nora G. Rodriguez, 52, West CR 250S, Warsaw.
Bartz was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital with face and leg pain. An unidentified child in Rodriguez’s van was taken to KCH with lacerations and bleeding from the face.
