Two From Syracuse Face Meth Charges

SYRACUSE - Two Syracuse residents were arrested after the Indiana State Police served a search warrant at their home Monday evening.

Kerri Lea Kelley, aka Kerri Lea Conley, 44, and Howard Lloyd Kelley, 46, both of Elm Grove Drive, Syracuse, were booked into the Kosciusko County Jail shortly after 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Howard Kelley was charged with dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of parphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance. His bond was set at $10,000.

Kerri Kelley was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance. Her bond was $2,000.

On Monday, the Indiana State Police served a search warrant at the Kellys' 11597 N. Elm Grove residence, and allegedly found items consistent with manufacturing methamphetamine and marijuana use.

Police then went to another residence at 11603 N. Elm Grove Drive, Syracuse, where they reportedly found a dismantled indoor marijuana grow operation as well as other drug paraphernalia.

Information about the incident has been forwarded to the Kosciusko Couty Prosecutor's Office, and more charges are possible.
