Motorists should expect some traffic issues this afternoon and tonight during two separate events in downtown Warsaw.
First Friday is expanding the number of street closings to accommodate a truck show in the downtown.
The truck show is from 5 to 9 p.m. and a beer garden that is also part of First Friday will be open from 7 to 11 p.m. in the City Hall Plaza.
Street closings will begin at 3 p.m.
In addition to parts of Buffalo and Center streets that are normally closed for First Friday, here is the expanded list for tonight:
• Market Street: from Lake St. to Indiana, from Alderfer-Bergen to the Times-Union.
• Buffalo Street will be closed from Main Street three blocks south to Glam.
According to a news release from Kosciusko Chamber of commerce, large trucks will start arriving at 3 p.m. and cars along those streets will need to be moved as soon as possible.
Also tonight is the annual Blues and BBQ festival in Central Park. Music starts at 6 p.m. and the main act, Tinsley Ellis, will perform at 8 p.m.
