More than 100 students in grades 4-8 qualified for the Indiana State Geographic Bee to be held Friday at IUPUI.
Each of these students won their school competition and then completed a written exam which was scored by the National Geographic. These finalists have been invited to compete for the state title and a trip to Washington, D.C., to represent Indiana at the National finals in May.
Students competing from this area include: Alex Sharfman, Manchester Junior-Senior High School, North Manchester; and Henry Robison, Lakeview Middle School, Warsaw.
