Two Claypool men are behind bars after police arrested them with a meth lab and five pounds of marijuana early Sunday morning.
Warsaw police officers were advised of an anonymous tip of a possible methamphetamine lab Sunday at approximately 6:30 a.m.
WPD officers arrived at 419 S. Maple Ave., Warsaw, and located two male subjects and paraphernalia associated with the production of methamphetamine.
Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers arrived and subsequently located a one-pot method meth lab along with five pounds of suspected marijuana that field tested positive.
Drug task force officers arrested Richard Ray Reynolds, 23, of 8584 S. Packerton Road, Claypool, and preliminarily charged him with felony manufacturing methamphetamine, felony possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and meth precursors.
Officers also arrested Kaleb Hobbs, 20, of 4267 Scott Road, Claypool, and preliminarily charged him with felony possession and manufacturing of methamphetamine.
More charges may result for other people in the residence at the time of the arrests.
Bonds had not been set by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office as of this morning.
Assisting the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force were officers from the Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team, Warsaw Police Department and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
The Kosciusko County Drug Task Force consist of officers from Warsaw, Syracuse and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department that work as a multi-agency unit to combat the usage and sell of illegal and illicit drugs.
