Two Arrested In Manchester

NORTH MANCHESTER – When North Manchester police sought to arrest a man on a felony warrant Friday, they were able to also apprehend another man wanted on a warrant.

At about 5:01 p.m. Friday, the North Manchester Police Department received a report of a man wanted on a felony warrant staying in the 500 block of Ind. 13E, according to a news release from the NMPD.

Officers went to the residence. While knocking on the door, somebody inside locked the door. Officers were then able to identify Terry L. Burkett, 38, Butler, and entered the residence.

Burkett was arrested on a felony warrant for possession of methamphetamine and revocation of electronic home detention, according to the news release.

Also arrested was Doug Carter, 37, Montpelier, who had a felony warrant for driving while suspended and petition to revoke electronic home detention.
