During the May 11 Tippecanoe Valley School Board meeting, the school corporation honored seven third-graders from Akron Elementary School and Mentone Elementary School that achieved a perfect score of 650 on the spring administration of IREAD3. IREAD3 is a state-mandated summative assessment that measures foundational reading skills for students who are in grade three to ensure that all students can read proficiently before moving on to fourth grade.
