MENTONE - Tippecanoe Valley senior cross country runner Aura Strohschein has been named to the first team academic All-State list in classes 3A and 4A combined.
Strohschein has a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.
"She's just an outstanding individual who excels athletically and in the classroom," Valley cross country coach Terry Screeton said. "She always has a smile on her face."
Strohschein was one of 15 who earned the honor. She was the only cross country runner named to that team from Valley.
