Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports aims to improve Tippecanoe Valley High School’s climate and improve student behavior.
Each week five students are rewarded for their behavior with a certificate, candy and a call home to the parent to let them know that their child was caught ‘Being Good.’ Out of those, a weekly winner is drawn and receives a ‘PBIS Winner’ t-shirt, donated by the Army National Guard, and is taken out to have lunch with Kirk Doehrmann, the principal. March’s daily winners were Zack Bautista, Jazzmine Brown, Corey Carson, Kelsey Eckert, Cody Frantz, Nick Gamble, Kaden Good, Olivia Helton, Cara Hoffman, Aimee Howard, Gary Long, Brooklyn McKain, Brandon Maul, Trent Peterson and Daniel Solano. March’s weekly winners were Tabitha Baldridge, TyWayne Brown, Trevor Franklin, Sandy Klinger and Mitch Randall. This month, the Akron Country Kitchen Restaurant provided lunch for the students.
