TVHS Hosting Meeting For Language Minority Students, Parents

AKRON - An important meeting for language minority students and their parents attending Tippecanoe Valley High School during the 2007-2008 school year will be held in the TVHS Lecture Room Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Important information about requirements for graduation, diplomas, credits, vocational opportunities, attendance and discipline will be presented.
The meeting will be conducted in English and Spanish for the convenience and understanding of those whose primary language is Spanish.
Refreshments will be served with a variety of Tippecanoe Valley Viking apparel to be given away as door prizes.
Bus transportation to and from the meeting will be provided. The bus will pick up anyone in need of transportation at Akron Elementary School (entrance A) at 6:30 p.m. and return them to the same location after the meeting.
Child care will be provided for families with young children.
