North Webster Elementary Principal Jim Garner goes tubing on Webster Lake Thursday to keep up his end of a deal for the school's fall fund-raiser. Students who sold at least 40 items earned the right to ride on the Dixie boat and watch Garner, who suggested the tubing idea. Sixty students qualified for the boat ride, which was provided by the Thystrup family, owners of the Dixie. Approximately $27,000 was raised by students. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union
