NORTH MANCHESTER - Community Foundation of Wabash County Executive Director Tracy Trump has resigned from her position.
Trump, who grew up in Urbana and now lives in North Manchester, joined the foundation as assistant director in 2005 and became executive director in early 2007.
"My decision to resign was a very, very difficult one," Trumps said. "My life has been enriched by the work and success that the foundation has enjoyed thanks to strong support from our community."
Trump says she will continue to support the foundation and its work in Wabash County.
"Tracy has worked diligently to build the foundation's relationships with donors, professional advisors, community leaders and other nonprofit organizations," said Community Foundation Board of Directors Chair Dave McFadden. "Her passion for the foundation has helped people realize how vital charitable giving is to improving the quality of life in Wabash County."
