The Obama Administration and the Democratic leadership continue to state they do not intend to institute a government public health care option that will eliminate private health insurance. Nothing could be further from the truth. Evidence that Obama and the Democrats health care goal is a government public option that will eliminate private insurance exists in their own words, on video. View it for yourself on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-bY92mcOdk
Following are quotes from the video:
1) Obama at the SEIU Heath Care Form, admitting his plan will eliminate private insurance (over time). "There is going to be potentially some transition process. I can envision a decade out, or 15 years out, or 20 years out. I don't think we are going to be able to eliminate employer coverage immediately. I happen to be a proponent of a single-payer universal health care plan. That's what I would like to see."
2) Representative Barney Frank (Dem-Mass.): "I think if we get a good public option I think it could lead to single payer and that is the best way to reach single payer."
3) Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky (Dem-Ill.): "Next to me was a guy from the insurance company who then argued against the public health insurance option, saying it wouldn't let private insurance compete. That a public option will put the private insurance industry out of business and lead to single payer. He was right. The man was right."
This video is now spreading rapidly across the Internet and media news. To try to contain the damage, on Tuesday, White House aide Linda Douglas began denying that Obama's plan would eliminate private healthcare insurance by posting a video on YouTube (www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0XCl6OHgiM).
She says, "There are a lot of deceiving headlines out there right now, such as, Uncovered Video - Obama Explains How His Healthcare Plan Will Eliminate 'Private Insurance.' She then says, "Well, nothing could be farther from the truth." Wait a minute, Linda; the facts are on video and can't be denied, even though you wish it could. It is Linda Douglas and the Obama Administration who are doing the deceiving and spreading the misinformation.
In an effort to further mask what they are really up to, the Obama Administration and the liberal left is now trying to shift the health care debate from "healthcare reform" to "health insurance reform." Why? Because people have a bone to pick with insurance companies. They want to put the blame on the insurance companies thinking people will rally in support of their health care reform bill under the disguise of health insurance reform.
Wake up, people; there is no health insurance reform in the bill. Their intent is a single-payer government health care program and the elimination of private insurance. Don't be fooled, the health care bill is about "healthcare reform," in the form of government run public health care with the elimination of private healthcare. You don't have to believe me. Check out the facts for yourself.
