The driver of the truck, Richard J. Herron, Columbia City, and Pierceton Deputy Marshal Trevor Griffith view the wreckage from a Monday afternoon truck-train accident on CR 800S, west of Packerton. No one was injured in the 3 p.m. collision at the Norfolk-Southern crossing. Herron apparently didn't see the train and pulled into its path.
