Power was out in Warsaw beginning about 9 a.m. after a semi tractor-trailer struck a pole at the corner of Main and Cook streets.
The Allied Van Lines truck took down some power lines in the accident and NIPSCO crews were still working to repair the wires more than an hour later.
The outage affected the intersections of Main and Detroit streets and Fort Wayne and Detroit streets, as well as customers along Main, Fort Wayne and Tamarack streets and Park Avenue. The Pete Thorn Building and Center Quick Service also were without power.
Power was restored to most residents by 10:15 a.m.
