Troop 776 invites the public to join them as they commemorate and celebrate “A Century of Honor.” In 1907, Sir Robert Baden-Powell began the Boy Scout movement in England, and in 1910 the Boy Scouts of America was founded. The church became the first sponsor of Scouting in the United States in 1913 and is now the largest sponsoring organization of Boy Scouts of America with more than 430,000 boys and young men enrolled, according to information provided. An open house is planned for Oct. 29 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1101 N. CR 175E, Warsaw. From 7 to 9 p.m., there will be commemorative open house Scouting displays open to the public, co-sponsored by Pack 3776. Then from 9 to 10 p.m., there will be a special broadcast from Salt Lake City. All guests are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
