On Jan. 26, nine scouts from Troop 715, along with four adult leaders, went to the Fort Wayne Public Library to meet with John Beatty, librarian. There they worked on the requirements for the Genealogy Badge. Each Scout picked an ancestor from their family tree. They then used the library’s facilities to research their family history. Afterward all went out to eat and then to Lazer-X. Scout meetings are on Mondays at 7 p.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Warsaw. Any boy who is at least 10 years old, or has completed the fifth grade, can join Boy Scouts. Visit the website at www.troop715.net for more details.
