Boy Scout Troop 715 has conducted a food drive for the Salvation Army. Five patrols were given the assignment of devising their own plan for collecting non-perishable food from the community. The patrol collecting the most food would earn a pizza party from Scoutmaster Dick McCleary, plus all the Scouts could earn community service hours. On March 26, the troop collected 1,519 items. The Shark Patrol turned in 720 items and won the prize. Kyle Smith topped everyone with 478 items to put his patrol in the winning circle. Other members of his patrol are Cameron Carter, Brandon Lee, Zachary Rooker, Vincent Johnston, Landon Slone, Trent Sumwalt and David Zigon.
