BOURBON - The Triton Trojan football team recorded its second shutout of the season, beating New Prairie 20-0. Triton earlier beat Culver 47-0.
The Trojan defense held New Prairie to 122 total yards. Triton had 200 rushing yards on 44 carries and 60 passing for 260 overall.
Scott Blackford scored Triton's first touchdown on a four-yard run in the second quarter. Blackford then scored Triton's second touchdown on a 35-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Jack Hackworth added Triton's last touchdown on a 57-yard fumble return in the fourth quarter.
Shain Ross led Triton with 95 yards rushing on 13 carries. Hackworth was Triton's top receiver with two catches for 41 yards.
New Prairie is 1-4 overall and 1-3 in the NSC.
Triton, 2-3 overall and 2-2 in the NSC, is at LaVille on Friday.
