Trojans Defeat New Prairie

BOURBON - Triton's boys basketball team snapped a three-game losing streak by beating New Prairie 65-53 Friday.

The Trojans won the game in the fourth quarter. With the game tied 37-37 after three, they outscored New Prairie 28-16 in the fourth to win by 12.

Rob Salyer, who came in averaging 2.2 points per game, led Triton with 17 points.

New Prairie fell to 2-9 overall and 0-3 in the Northern State Conference.

Triton, 6-5 overall and 2-2 in the NSC, is at 6-5 NorthWood tonight.
