Triton’s Wanemacher Named Conference MVPTriton junior Hannah Wanemacher was named the Hoosier North Athletic Conference’s most valuable girls basketball player on Tuesday. Wanemacher and teammate Nichole Sechrist were named to the all-conference team, and sophomore Whytnie Miller was honorable mention. Others on the all-conference team include Emily Rowe of Caston; Lindsey Simpson of Knox; Aryn Eash of LaVille; Casey Korniak, Madeline Schumacher and Megan Schumacher of North Judson; Haley McWherter of Pioneer, Adriana Barlow of West Central; and Camryn Kopka and Alyssa Wagner of Winamac. Honorable mention went to Emily Holt of Caston; Courtney Salyer of Culver Community; Lindsey Aschlenbrenner of LaVille; Leslie Kroft and Makayla Richie of Knox, Lauren Cox of North Judson; Clarissa Blackburn of West Central; and Erika Brogdon of Winamac.
