NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON SUPERINTENDENT’S CONTRACT
Pursuant to Indiana Code 20-26-5-4.3
Notice is hereby provided that the Board of School Trustees of Triton School Corporation shall hold a public hearing to discuss and hear objections to, and support for, a proposed Superintendent contract at its regular meeting on October 8, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the school corporation office located at 100 Triton Drive, Bourbon, Indiana. A summary of the proposed contract is as follows:
The contract term is from July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2021 with an annual salary of $105,000.
The contract provides for the Superintendent to work 260 days per year, subject to the following paid leave: school holidays and vacation periods within the school calendar, 20 days vacation, 3 days personal leave, and 12 days sick leave.
Annuity: $2,500; life insurance: $150,000; health insurance: all but $1.00 with the maximum not to exceed caps of HB1260.
Other benefits equal to the negotiated benefits between the Triton School Board and the Triton Teachers Association.
