Students from Triton Elementary School represented their science research at the regional level science fair competitions at Notre Dame March 22. Triton winners were: Jared Bules, sixth grade, second-place ribbon, topic “Eggmosis”; Gavin Greer, sixth grade, third-place ribbon, topic “Popcorn and Temperature”; Macclain Middaugh, fourth grade, first-place ribbon, topic “Germs”; Trenton Barnhart (pictured), fifth grade, first-place ribbon, Purdue Agriculture Research Award and Serim Research Award, topic “Trash Gas and Biomass Energy.”
