Did you know Indiana had a birthday in December? Fourth-graders at Triton Elementary School study Indiana History throughout the year. Pictured is Mrs. Reese’s fourth-grade class reciting the Indiana State Poem. They’ve memorized it, and it’s a long poem. If you don’t know the state poem, ask one of these fourth-graders. Picutred (L to R) are, row one: Jack Gaughan, Janessa Hanes, Angela Riffey, Sydney Stotler, Megan Lindsay, Angel Irwin; row two: Hunter Elliott, Casey Kemp, Keegan Westafer, Luke Snyder, Ivy Powell, Kendall Hensley; row three: David Nuss, Mason Stienbarger, Tiger Miller, Taylor Watkins, Abbey Viers, Caleb Lemler, Dylanie Miller, Madelyn Young and Haley Carson.
