Triton Students Learn Banking

Posted

All third-graders at Triton Elementary School were visited by Mandy Feehman and Joelle Schrader from the IAB Bank. The bank offers a program to help elementary children learn about saving money. During the program students were introduced to several terms such as “income,” “delayed gratification,” “personal identification number” and “balance.” Students also heard a story called “A Tale of Two Brothers.” In this story, two brothers really wanted to earn money to each buy a snow board, but only one brother was very good at saving money.
