BOURBON - On May 30, the Triton community showed its support for the Class of 2008's efforts to pursue a post-secondary education by awarding $38,000 to graduating seniors.
An additional $7,000 has been awarded from the community to Triton alumni, who will be continuing their post-secondary education next year.The following local scholarships were awarded to seniors at commencement:

Mary Thomas Memorial Scholarship $500: Robert Chilton
Dr. Richard and Jan Strait Scholarship $500: A.J. Fleagle
Nilas Cretcher Memorial Scholarships $500 each: Reggie Davis, Blake Schori.
Charles Wolf Scholarships $500-$1,000: A.J. Fleagle, Abbey Reichert, Brittany Riffle, Stephanie Stichter, Katie Wilcox.
Jill Carpenter Memorial Scholarship $5,000: T.J. Carpenter.
Russell and Audrey Feldman Scholarship $1,000: Chelsie Kauffman.
Audrey Grossman Scholarship $1,000: Alisha Bird
Jack Kochert Memorial Scholarship $500: Aaron Long
Glenn "Bud" Clauss Memorial Scholarship $500: Aaron Long
Harold Miller Memorial Scholarship $1,000: Lance George.
D. Neil Rettinger Memorial Scholarship $1,000: Mitchell Mellott
Nathan Collins Memorial Scholarship $1,000: Jonas Soriano.
Triton Athletic Booster Club Scholar Athlete Award $2,000: Jessica Ganshorn.

Triton Educational Foundation Scholarships $500-$1,000: Erica Ambrose, Olivia Eyrich, Kelsey Koontz, Douglas Nordmann, Patrick Smith, Matt Woodward, Dustin Cummins.
