BOURBON — Playing in a four-team sectional, the hosting Triton softball team advanced to tonight’s championship game with a 9-6 win over No. 5 Westville Tuesday night. Triton will meet South Central, which defeated Argos 12-2 in five innings Tuesday, tonight at 5:30 p.m., with the winner moving on to the regional round. Against Westville, freshman pitcher Mallorie Jennings got the win, while Sarah Stichter and Katie Claxon each hit doubles.

Tuesday in North Manchester
After being rained out Monday, the Manchester Sectional got started Tuesday with Southwood defeating Wabash 8-0 and Manchester getting the best of Northfield 6-1. Southwood and Manchester meet today at 5 p.m., with the winner moving on to Thursday’s 6:30 p.m. championship against either North Miami or Cass.
