Triton Lists Key Dates For StudentsBOURBON – The following is a list of key dates and information this summer for the Triton School Corp.

Junior-Senior High

• Triton Junior-Senior High School office is closed until July 23 for summer cleaning and maintenance. The office will reopen July 24.

• High school office hours will be 7:30 a.m. to  3:30 p.m.

• Student registration and textbook rental collection dates are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 30 and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 31. Online registration will not be available for the high school.

Textbook rental cost for Triton Junior-Senior High is not available at this time as the amount is based on the classes each student enrolls in.

New students entering the school must call 574-342-6505 to make an appointment to register.

Triton Elementary

• The Triton Elementary School office will be closed beginning today through July 23 for summer cleaning and maintenance.  The office will reopen July 24.

• Elementary office hours will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• Student registration and textbook rental collection will be from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m July 30 and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 31.

• Online registration for elementary students is available beginning at 8 a.m. July 25 at www.triton.k12.in.us.

Textbook rental rates are:

Kindergarten    $89.88

First Grade    $102.41

Second Grade    $131.99

Third Grade    $119.40

Fourth Grade    $ 108.00

Fifth Grade    $ 111.94

Sixth Grade    $ 125.19

• Textbooks are to be paid in full or a payment schedule must be established at the time of registration for both buildings.

School Meals

• Elementary student lunch is $2 per day and student breakfast is $1.10 per day.

• Junior-senior high school student lunch is $2.25 per day and student breakfast is $1.25 per day.

Athletic Meeting

The athletic meeting for grades 5-12 athletes, parents and coaches is 6 p.m. Aug. 7 in the high school auditorium.

Orientation

Seventh-grade orientation is at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 2 in the high school auditorium.

First Day

The first day of school for students is Aug 7.
