Triton Leads Roundup With Come-From-Behind Win

ROCHESTER — Trailing 20-15 after one quarter, the Triton Trojans outscored the host Rochester Zebras 36-10 over the next two quarters, getting a 71-49 win Tuesday night.
Converting 26 of 30 free throws on the night, the win was the Trojans’ seventh in eight games and leaves them with an 11-6 record going into Friday’s game at Tippecanoe Valley.
Triton had three players reach double-digit points against Rochester, led by Skyler Reichert’s 20, converting 6 of 10 three-pointers, followed by Tanner Shepherd’s 17 and Joey Corder’s 13.
Along with his 17 points, Shepherd also posted seven rebounds, seven assists and a steal.

At Westview Tuesday night, the Wawasee boys basketball team lost 58-47. Junior Alex Clark led the Wawasee Warriors with 14 points, while sophomore Jeffrey Moore had 12 and junior Stori Bright put up eight. The 4-13 Warriors travel to Fort Wayne South Side Friday night.
