Triton Elementary School students celebrated their ‘Family’ field day May 21. Jack Carpenter, physical education teacher, developed the idea as part of the school’s ‘Fuel Up to Play 60’ program. Many area businesses sponsored the day with cash donations and other items. All students were part of a mixed-grade team and were given matching team shirts to wear for this day. The students enjoyed the full day of relays, obstacle courses and other outdoor activities. Pictured are members of the orange team as they wait their turn on the obstacle course.
