Wawasee’s Elizabeth Zorn completed the New Haven semistate course in Fort Wayne with a time of 21:36, but did not advance to the state meet.
“It wasn’t her best race of the year, but she wasn’t afraid to go out and put herself into position,” said Wawasee girls head coach Doug Slabaugh. “She gained some good racing experience racing in that field. She reached her goal of running at the semistate this year.”
