Triton Boys Basketball Win over Argos

BOURBON — Getting three players into double-digit scoring Tuesday night at home, the Class 1A No. 4 Triton boys basketball team posted a 67-40 win over Argos.

Sophomore Cody Shively led the Trojans with 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting, while junior Clay Yeo and sophomore Tanner Shepherd each had 15 points. Senior Zak Shively had a game-high nine assists, seven rebounds and five steals.

The Trojans host LaVille Saturday for a Northern State Conference game.

The Tippecanoe Valley boys basketball team posted a 64-57 victory at Maconaquah Tuesday night. Junior Nick Kindig led the Vikings with 19 points, accompanied by junior Jacob Ritchey’s 13. Also for Valley, senior Jeffrey Tillman and sophomore Tanner Andrews each scored 11. The 11-3 Vikings are at Wabash Friday.

The Manchester boys basketball team posted its first Three Rivers Conference win of the season Tuesday, defeating Rochester 52-47 at home. Improving to 3-10 on the season, the Squires were led by Logan Brunn’s 22 points, while Derek Self and Connor McLaughlin each netted eight. The Squires are back in TRC action Friday at Northfield.

For Bremen, Jenna Pfeiffer scored 35 points, while Wawasee’s KiLee Knafel matched that total, but suffered the team loss. The Wawasee Lady Warriors host Northridge Friday night for their regular season finale.

BOYS SWIMMING
Tuesday in Syracuse
The Wawasee boys swim team defeated East Noble 131-52 Tuesday night in Syracuse. In the team win, Wawasee won 11 of 12 events, including all three relays. Individually, Andrew Busse (200 IM, 500 free), Sebastian List (200 free, 100 back) and Zac Hershberger (100 free, 100 breast) each won two, while Luke Smith won the 50 free and Corey Kenworthy finished first in the 100 fly. The Wawasee Warriors’ next meet is Feb. 16 at Northridge for the preliminary round of the sectional.
