SYRACUSE – Trinda Wegener, 64, Milford, passed away March 18, 2015, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born Aug. 7, 1950, in Coldwater, Mich., to Cecil and Elaeanor Steele. She worked many years at Johnson Controls, Bertch Vending and later on at Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse. She is survived by her two sons, Scott (and spouse Jessica) and Quinn (and spouse Sarah) Wegener, all of Syracuse; four grandchildren: Justin, Brendan, Cayden and Aundreya Wegener, all of Syracuse; one sister, Patty Workman, Syracuse; three brothers: Elmer Steele and Rick Gay, both of Syracuse; and Carl Thompson, Goshen; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Audrey Wegener; a brother, Dewey Gay; and her parents. Memorials services will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse.
