NORTH MANCHESTER - Trick-or-Treat at the Library will take place during library hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 31.

A Halloween party will be held in the library basement Oct. 31 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Kids and teens will enjoy crafts, games and refreshments.On Oct. 30, the library will begin a new four-week film series featuring movie goddess Katharine Hepburn. The showing of "The Philadelphia Story" will begin at 1 p.m. in the Blocher Community Room. The series will continue on Nov. 6 with "Bringing Up Baby."
Beginning Oct. 1, the Blocher Community Room will be open each Wednesday afternoon for teens to eat snacks, play games or just hang out. Ages 12-18 are invited to come anytime from 3:30 to 6 p.m.
"Raising Healthy Eaters," a family nutrition program led by Sarah Anguilm, continues through Nov. 24. This half-hour program will take place at 10 a.m. in the Blocher Room each Monday. The program is funded by Purdue University and designed for parents of 2- to 5-year-olds who want to have happy, healthy children and enjoyable mealtimes. Parents will learn from each other; get great recipes for healthy, easy meals and snacks; and win fun promotional items. Enrollment forms for this free program are available at the children's department desk.
