Travel Advisory Expected to End This Afternoon

Posted
The weather advisory level has been lowered from red last night to orange today.
Travel is permitted, but unnecessary travel is not suggested. Chad Hill, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department public information officer, said this morning he spoke with Kosciusko County Emergency Management Director Ed Rock. Rock told Hill with the sun shining, the advisory could be lifted by 3 p.m. today.
Snowfall totals as high as 19 inches were reported in Plymouth and counties to the north and west of Warsaw. North Webster and Syracuse saw 14 inches of snow with between 8 and 10 inches elsewhere in Kosciusko County. The snowfall meant cancellations or delays for many schools and events and the closure of some town offices.
