Two people were arrested for possession of meth after Warsaw police conducted a traffic stop. On March 23, Warsaw Police Department observed a Chevrolet Blazer turn suddenly and abruptly stop in a driveway. Police checked the license plate on the vehicle and learned that the plate was registered to Cherich Heckaman’s Ford F-150. Heckaman, 31, of 3069 S. Country Club Road, Warsaw, had an active warrant for a probation violation. According to the probable cause affidavit provided by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office, police pulled the vehicle over and found Heckaman in the passenger seat. The vehicle was driven by Tyler Sheetz, 30, of 10582 N. Steffen Drive, Milford, who had a suspended license. Sheetz was arrested for driving with a suspended license. Inside the vehicle, police found a Crown Royal bag containing two glass smoking devices and a container of meth. In Heckaman’s purse, officers found more meth and precursors. Sheetz faces charges of possession of meth, possession of paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license, and booked into the county jail on a $5,250 bond. Heckaman was arrested for probation violation, possession of meth and possession of paraphernalia, and booked into the county jail on a $10,250 bond.
