Two Warsaw residents face drug charges after a traffic stop led to the discovery of items used to make methamphetamine.
Around 11:29 p.m. Tuesday, a Warsaw police officer made a traffic stop after a car he was following failed to signal for a lane change on Center Street.
After stopping the car, the officer asked if he could search the vehicle and found several items classified as precursors to manufacturing methamphetamine in a pharmacy bag.
Once the precursors were found, officers got permission to search apartments on Walter Way where the driver, Shannon D. Boyer, 32, and passenger, Seth L. Cummins, 29, live.
Upon searching the apartments, police found more ingredients used to make meth and evidence of a meth lab.
Warrants have been issued for the arrests of both Boyer and Cummins.
