Danielle Kimes, 9, a fourth-grader at North Webster Elementary School, poses with dozens of pet toys she distributed to animals at the county animal shelter Thursday. Kimes got the money for the toys by putting out collection cans at her father's business in Pierceton. She also raised money by collecting aluminum cans and used some of her allowance. This isn't the first time she has donated to the shelter. Previously she has given $57 and $83. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union
