REQUEST FOR TRASH COLLECTION BIDS Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of Syracuse, Indiana, will receive sealed bids for the collection and disposal of refuse and recyclables set out in accordance with specifications on file in the office of Clerk Treasurer, Town Hall, 310 North Huntington Street, Syracuse, Indiana. All bids shall be submitted on the response forms included in the contract specifications, and shall include a non-collusion affidavit, and a certified check or bid bond of ten (10) percent of the annual bid price. Checks or bid bonds shall be made payable to the Town of Syracuse. Bids will be received until 12:00 p.m. on May 12, 2010 at the office of the Clerk Treasurer, 310 North Huntington Street, Syracuse, Indiana. Bid opening will be in the Town Council meeting room, 310 North Huntington Street, on May 13 at 12:00 p.m. The Town Council will award the bid at their regular meeting on Tuesday, may 18, 2010, which begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Syracuse Town Hall.
