TO: Residents of the Town of Syracuse, Indiana and other Interested Parties
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Town of Syracuse Redevelopment Commission adopted Resolution #2017-RDC-02 on August 31, 2017, declaring an area in the Town of Syracuse as an Economic Development Area as provided under LC. 36-7-14-15. Further, the Town of Syracuse Redevelopment Commission has also adopted an Economic Development Plan for the Syracuse Technology Park TIF and Economic Development Area. Further, this Resolution and Plan have been reviewed and approved by the Syracuse Town Council and the Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that maps and plats of the Syracuse Economic Development Area, and the Plan for the Economic Development Area, have been prepared and can be inspected at the office of the Syracuse Redevelopment Commission, located at the Syracuse Town Hall, 310 North Huntington Street, Syracuse, Indiana, 46567, during normal business hours.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Syracuse Redevelopment Commission will meet, at the Syracuse Town Hall, in the Town Council Chambers, on September 27, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. to determine the public utility and benefit of the proposed project or other actions to be taken pursuant to the Economic Development Plan, and to receive and hear remonstrances and objections from persons interested in or affected by the proceedings pertaining to the proposed project and Economic Development Plan, or other actions to be taken under the Resolution. All persons affected in any manner by the hearing, including all taxpayers of the special taxing district, shall be considered notified of the pendency of this public hearing and of all subsequent acts, hearings, adjournments, and orders of the Syracuse Redevelopment Commission by this notice.
