NOTICE TO BIDDERS Town of Silver Lake Owner: Town of Silver Lake, PO Box 159, 604 N Jefferson St., Silver Lake, IN 46982 Project/Work: Removal of Unsafe Structure(s) in Lake Township Notice is hereby given that Town of Silver Lake will receive sealed bids for the above described "Project/Work" at 604 N. Jefferson St., Silver Lake, IN 46982, 3:00 pm., Wednesday October 14, 2015 and commencing at 7:00 pm thereafter on the same date such bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in Silver Lake Town Meeting Hall, 604 N Jefferson St. No late bids will be accepted. All vendors must be licensed to perform demolition work in Kosciusko County, Indiana. A Bid Bond or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid must be submitted with each Bid. A One hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bond will also be required of the Successful Bidder. The Work consists of, but is not necessarily limited to the following: Removal of unsafe structure(s) in Lake Township Contract Documents for the Project/Work have been assembled into one or more bound Project Manuals which, may be examined at the following locations: Silver Lake Clerk- Treasurer's office located at 604 N Jefferson St, Silver Lake, IN 46982 This Work will be funded by the Town of Silver Lake. It is the goal of the Town of Silver Lake, Kosciusko County to promote the utilization of MBEs during and as part of each contract for the purchase of goods, supplies services and construction work where applicable, in an effort to meet or exceed the participation goals established in the demolition process. A plan of 5% participation of Minority Business Enterprises should be used. Each bidder shall identify, as a part of its bid the MBE businesses that would perform work should the bid be accepted, a description of the work which each subcontractor/supplier would perform and the dollar amount of work which each would perform.
