PIERCETON – The town of Pierceton invites the community to join them for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Pierceton-Washington Township Community Park.
The celebration will recognize the many improvements recently completed at the park, including a new basketball court, tennis courts, pickleball courts and a new flag and flagpole, along with numerous maintenance and other improvements throughout the park, according to a provided news release.
These projects represent an important investment in the community and will provide residents and visitors with improved opportunities for recreation, activity and gathering for years to come, the release states.
The town of Pierceton is grateful to the K21 Health Foundation and the Kosciusko County Community Foundation for their grant support toward these projects, according to the release. Their investment has helped the town make improvements to a community park that is enjoyed by residents of all ages.
