NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION RESOLUTION BY THE TOWN OF MILFORD, INDIANA AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the date indicated in the last paragraph of this Notice, the Town Council of the Town of Milford Junction, Indiana, will review the adoption of Resolution No. 2014-8 declaring Certain Land within the Town of Milford Junction, Indiana, as a continued Economic Revitalization Area, as the term is defined in Indiana Code Section 6-1.1-12.1-1, et seq., for the purpose of providing Tax Abatement availability to that area. A description of the area affected together with a copy of the Resolution is available and can be inspected at the Clerk-Treasurer's Office for the Town of Milford Junction, located at the office of the Clerk-Treasurer for the Town of Milford Junction, Indiana, 121 South Main Street, Milford, Indiana 46542. The full legal description is also available at the office of the Clerk-Treasurer for the Town of Milford Junction, Indiana. The Area affected is located at multiple parcels in the Town of Milford, Indiana, with common addresses as follows: 410 North Higbee Street, Milford, IN 46542 (and 502 North Higbee Street, Milford Indiana), and 610 North Higbee Street, Milford, IN 46542 (and 612 North Higbee Street, Milford, Indiana). The substance of the Resolution is to allow Tax Abatement for improvements to be made within the described Areas, with the Proposed Tax Abatement for improvement to the Areas to be for a period of up to ten years as determined on a case-by-case basis by the Town Council, giving consideration to the nature and size of the improvements, the employment to be generated, the prior development of the area and any employment and employment opportunities, to the citizens of the Town of Milford Junction, increase in the Assessed Valuation of the Town of Milford, and the attraction of other development to the Town of Milford. The specific request pending before the Town Council is for ten years of Tax Abatement on improvements to real estate and upon machinery and equipment at all locations. You are FURTHER NOTIFIED that on Nov. 3rd, at 7:00 p.m., at the Town Hall for the Town of Milford, Indiana, the Town Council will receive and hear all comments, remonstrances, and objections, from interested persons or from anyone else who may attend. In addition, anyone may, prior to the meeting, submit to the Clerk-Treasurer of the Town of Milford Junction, Indiana, any written comments, and those written comments will be considered at the hearing. After hearing all evidence, the Town Council will and shall take final action determining whether qualifications have been met, and shall pass a Resolution confirming, modifying and confirming, or rescinding the said Declaratory Resolution No. 2014-8, and thereby approving, modifying or denying Tax Abatement for the applicant in this instance, CTB, Inc.
