SYRACUSE – The sixth Tour des Lakes July 11 will have a couple of route changes. The scenic bicycle race around county lakes will have a 25K route, a 50K and a 100K route. The 25K route will have even more scenic views of Lake Wawasee and the countryside, according to event organizers, while Dewart Lake has been added to the 100K route. There also will be a free Family Fun Ride around Syracuse Lake of approximately five miles. All races have stops along the way for a snack and drink. The race departs from the Syracuse Community Center, 1013 N. Long Drive. Day-of registration is from 7 to 9:30 a.m. Registration is $35 per individual and $65 per family, though lunch will only be included for riders who register by Wednesday.
