A fire in a mobile home at Whispering Pines Wednesday morning resulted in a total loss, according to officials with the Leesburg Fire Department. The home, at Lot 54, was owned by Bob and Mary Schmidt and occupied by Crystal Sledge, who was in the process of moving out. Fire officials said the fire appeared to have been a result of an electrical problem in a water bed. No injuries were reported, but Sledge was at the residence when she notice smoke in the hallway and called the fire department about 10:30 a.m. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union
