Kosciusko County’s Committee to Celebrate Indiana’s Bicentennial reminds area residents that the deadline to nominate someone to be a torch bearer for Indiana’s Bicentennial Torch Relay is Jan. 31. Information on how to nominate someone can be found at Indiana2016.org/torchrelay The Bicentennial Torch will pass through Kosciusko County Sept. 29. Plans are also underway for the county’s weekend Bicentennial Celebration, which will be Sept. 29 through Oct. 1. A pancake breakfast, vintage baseball tournament, parade and concert are among the events being planned.
