Top spellers in the county will face off Monday in the first day's competition of the Kosciusko County Spelling Bee.
Monday's contest will feature fifth- and sixth-graders; Tuesday seventh- and eighth-graders will compete; and Wednesday's finals will feature the winners of Monday's and Tuesday's bees.
The winner of Wednesday's competition will represent Kosciusko County at the regional spelling bee in March in Fort Wayne.
Twenty-five students will compete Monday and Tuesday.
As in years past, the preliminary rounds will take place at First United Methodist Church, 179 S. Indiana St., Warsaw.
Wednesday's final contest will be broadcast live from the WRSW studios in the Times Building.
All matches will begin at 7 p.m.
Following is a list of spelling champions and runners-up from Kosciusko County-area schools. If a champion is unable to represent his or her school in the bee, the runner-up would take the champion's place.
