MILFORD - Tonya Kay Underhill, 52, of Leesburg, went home to be with the Lord Aug. 9, 2010, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Aug. 26, 1957, in Goshen, to Ed and Shelba Gunter Linn. On Aug. 26, 1978, she married Charles Underhill, who survives.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her nieces and nephews. She liked crocheting, knitting, fishing and playing video games. She attended Leesburg Grace Brethren Church as a child and was most recently a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Oswego. She was a loving wife and friend and will be missed dearly by all those who knew her.
Also surviving are her mother, Shelba (and spouse Sam) Cooper, Leesburg; her maternal grandmother, Arneal Gunter, Leesburg; a sister, Tina; a brother, Ed; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.
Cremation will take place with a memorial service to be at a later date,
Mishler Funeral Home, Milford, is in charge of arrangements.
