On Oct. 18, there will be a benefit poker run for Tony Baugher at Rex's Rendezvous. The three-stop poker run will begin at 1 p.m., with registration at noon. Registration is $25 per rider and $5 per passenger. Riders will return at approximately 4 p.m. for a meal, auction and prizes.
Baugher lost his job after 17 years, and then three days later was diagnosed with tongue cancer. Since then, he has had three surgeries. After selling many things, Baugher and his family are still not able to pay all the medical bills and other expenses coming in.
Anyone who wishes to make a monetary donation may do so at Lake City Bank, in care of the Tony Baugher Benefit.
